VIDEO: Explosions Rock Minsk, One Protester Killed

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus has reported the death of one individual during protests in Minsk. "On August 10, around 23:00, during mass disturbances on Prititsky Street in Minsk, the crowd erected barricades to block traffic. During a confrontation with special forces arriving to clear the square, one protester attempted to throw an unidentified explosive device at the law enforcement officers. It detonated in his hand, causing life-threatening injuries," a statement on the official Telegram channel of the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs reads.

An investigative operational group is working at the scene to clarify all circumstances of the incident.
