Two Young Men Steal Household Items Worth 470,000 Drams from a House in Surenavan Village

On August 4, officers from the Ararat division of the police detained two men, aged 24 and 33, on suspicion of committing burglary. One is a resident of Surenavan village and the other is from Ararat city. This information was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

Subsequent investigations revealed that in March, they had stolen household items from a house in Surenavan village. In various districts of Ararat city, they also stole construction and artisanal tools, as well as household items from stone buildings, a mobile home, a workshop, and a vacation area. And that was not all.

The police found that in December of the previous year, the suspects had stolen various equipment and tools from a tire repair shop in Ararat village, causing approximately 450,000 drams in material damage. They had also stolen tools worth about half a million drams from another mobile home in the same village, and in February of this year, they stole household goods worth 470,000 drams from the yard of a house in Surenavan village.

The detained individuals have been arrested, and some of the stolen items have been recovered. The pre-trial investigation of the initiated criminal case is ongoing.
