Violations Recorded at the National Center for Mental Health Care

On August 6, representatives from the Human Rights Defender's Office conducting the functions of the National Prevention Mechanism and experts of the national prevention mechanism made an unannounced visit to the National Center for Mental Health Care of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia (Nub ara shen). This was reported by the Office of the Human Rights Defender.

During the visit, the rights of individuals with mental health issues were checked regarding their protection, the state of the organization of preventive measures related to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, sanitary and hygienic conditions along with their compliance with the required standards, working conditions for the center's employees, and more.
