VIDEO: Thief Steals Calves and Drives Off in Opel to Spitak

On August 7, a resident of Lusaghbyur village in the Shirak region called the police to report that two calves had been stolen near the village's football field. The calves were tied up at the time of the theft.
As a result of measures taken by officers of the Ani police department, it was determined that the crime was committed using a silver Opel vehicle, which was unregistered. The stolen calves were being transported to Spitak.
In collaboration with the police departments of Artik and Spitak, authorities detained a 31-year-old man on Shiraz Highway in Spitak on suspicion of theft, along with the Opel he was driving, which contained the two calves.
A criminal case has been initiated, and an investigation is underway.
