Video: Police Use Tear Gas and Rubber Bullets to Disperse Protesters in Minsk and Other Belarusian Cities

In the capital of Belarus, Minsk, police deployed tear gas on Monday evening to disperse protesters. According to РИА Новости, several dozen individuals had gathered in the city center, which police attempted to clear.

Simultaneously, arrests are taking place among opposition supporters. The OMON special police forces in Minsk have begun to remove opposition supporters from the area adjacent to the "Minsk, Hero City" monument.

Dissatisfied residents are also holding protests in the city of Brest, where OMON officers are employing forceful measures, primarily using rubber bullets and stun grenades.

Law enforcement is conducting mass arrests on the central streets of Grodno. It is worth noting that in the presidential elections held on August 9, the incumbent leader Alexander Lukashenko claimed victory, receiving 80.08% of the votes.
