VIDEO: Armavir Police Uncover Apartment Burglaries in Nor Kesaraki Village

The Armavir Police Department received operational information that two 18-year-old brothers residing in the Avan district of Yerevan had committed burglaries in the houses of Nor Kesaraki village in the Armavir region.

On June 27, the brothers were taken to the Armavir Police Department on suspicion. As a result of the explanatory work conducted by the police, they confessed that in June and July 2019, they had entered one of the houses in Nor Kesaraki village using a key taken from under the entrance carpet and stolen 375,000 drams.

The brothers also admitted to committing several other thefts in the same village. They mainly opened the doors with keys that were placed under the carpets near the doors or entered through open windows. They stole cash and various items.

A criminal case has been initiated based on the facts, which has been forwarded to the Armavir Investigative Department for further investigation.
