VIDEO: A Young Man has Died during Protests in Belarus as a Car Plowed into the Crowd

A young man has become the first casualty during the protests in Belarus. A vehicle plowed into the crowd in Minsk, resulting in the death of the victim, identified as Evgeny Zaichkin. Footage of the incident has surfaced online.

After hitting the young man, the car did not brake. Protesters pulled him out of the roadway. According to local media reports, four others are currently in intensive care.

Earlier reports indicated that over 120 activists were detained on the day of the presidential elections in Belarus. As previously reported, protests are ongoing in Belarus in response to the preliminary results of the elections.
