Lydian Will Do Everything Within Legal Framework to Reconstruct Legal Jobs: Statement
“Lydian” has issued a statement indicating that the movement of its mobile homes was illegal and that the company will continue operations in the Amulsar area. The announcement states:
“On August 7, several meters of legally placed mobile homes belonging to Lydian were moved from the area rented legally by Lydian. This was yet another illegal action occurring in the Amulsar region. The police subordinate its function of upholding law and legality to the noise and manipulation involving several dozen activists from previous days.
On the same day, a group of individuals who had been illegally blocking roads for two years also had their mobile homes removed, however, this does not restore the violated rights of the company. Currently, cleaning, inventory, and other restoration works are ongoing in the area, which are regularly obstructed by the unlawfully acting group.
The law enforcement system is obliged to protect the interests of the community and the law. Meanwhile, the community has been waiting for a long time for a resolution to the issue, hoping that they will finally be able to return to their dignified work. Lydian will do everything within its legal framework to reconstruct legal jobs, involving the workforce from the communities. We call on law enforcement to restore law and legality in the area.”
