Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Dies in Non-Combat Conditions

On July 10, Fuad Nadir oglu Mammadov, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan and head of the Material and Technical Supply Department, passed away due to heart failure. This was reported by razm.info, citing the official website of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that Mammadov held this position from 2015 until August 8, 2020. Currently, the position is temporarily occupied by Lieutenant General Nizami Osman Ramazan oglu, the deputy chief of the General Staff.

Just a day earlier, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced the death of another lieutenant general. However, he was retired and is not counted as a loss.
