Rescuers Find Members of Lost Trekking Group

On August 8, at 20:50, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that citizens (14 people) were lost in the area between the Aghveran mountain resort and the town of Tsaghkadzor. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting and rescue squad from the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. Rescuers, along with employees of the Meghradzor Forest Enterprise, located the members of the trekking group in section No. 4 of the Meghradzor Forest Enterprise and escorted them to the territory of the ‘Kecharris’ hotel complex in Tsaghkadzor.

Six rescuers and two employees of the Meghradzor Forest Enterprise participated in the search operations.
