LHK Clarifies Incident Involving Driver

The spokesperson for the 'Enlightened Armenia' party, Aren Petunts, has provided clarification regarding an incident involving the driver of the LHK faction's vehicle. Earlier, shamshyan.com disseminated information about a traffic incident involving the driver of the LHK faction, which misrepresents the reality.

During traffic, an altercation occurred between drivers, after which the other driver parked their vehicle to settle scores with Hamlet Zaroyan. The individual exited with a construction tool (a screwdriver) in hand and inflicted injuries on Hamlet Zaroyan. Photos attached reveal the injuries on Zaroyan's body caused by the screwdriver, indicating the other driver's intent to attack.

Zaroyan defended himself, thwarting the attack and attempting to seize the screwdriver. Following the incident, around 12:00, he personally went to the Malatia-Sebastia police department to report the crime and received a referral for a forensic medical examination, after which he returned to his daily work.

It is unclear why shamshyan.com presented the report of the crime that Zaroyan submitted to law enforcement immediately after the incident as if he were detained for assault. Seeing the screwdriver, Zaroyan resorted to self-defense and immediately reported the incident to the police once the danger had passed.
