First Humanitarian Flight from Armenia Arrives in Lebanon, Says Zohrab Mnatsakanyan

The first humanitarian aid flight from Armenia has arrived in Lebanon. The information was shared by Armenia's Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on his Twitter microblog.

“The first of three planes sent from Armenia to our fraternal Lebanon has arrived. With open hearts from Armenia to Beirut,” the minister wrote.

The aircraft carried exclusively medicine and medical supplies. Armenia will send two more planes with aid to Lebanon. The second and third flights heading to Beirut will include assistance intended for the Armenian community, including clothing and food supplies, as requested by the Lebanese-Armenian community.

The second plane will depart for Lebanon on August 9, and the third on August 11.

Let us remind you that on August 4, a powerful explosion occurred in the vicinity of the Beirut port due to ammonium nitrate. A total of 154 people have died from the explosion, with the identities of 25 individuals still unverified. Additionally, there are 60 people missing, and over 5,000 people have been injured.
