Suspect Wanted Since 2017 for Murder Located in Armenia
On August 6, a 33-year-old man, who was under the surveillance of the Criminal Police Department, arrived in Armenia on a flight from Moscow to Yerevan. He was subsequently transferred to the detention center of the Yerevan Police Department. This information was reported by the Armenian Police.
The man had been wanted since 2017 by the Malatia Police Department for charges of murder and for unlawfully acquiring, selling, keeping, transporting, or carrying weapons, military equipment, explosives, or explosive devices, with the preventive measure being detention.
The case pertains to a murder that occurred on the night of December 6, 2017, on Babajanyan Street in the Southwest B4 neighborhood, where the suspect allegedly used a firearm. Immediately after the incident, the 33-year-old man had fled the country.
The crime was uncovered through fresh leads, the identity of the suspect was established, charges were brought against him, and a search was declared.
