Hayk Mhrjan Relieved of Duties as Deputy Chief of Police of Armenia

Hayk Mhrjan has been relieved of his duties as the Deputy Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia and has been discharged from service within the Armenian police force, according to a decree issued by President Armen Sarkissian.
"Based on the Prime Minister's recommendation and in accordance with Article 133, part 1 of the Constitution, as well as Article 13, part 3, and Article 45, part 1, subsection 2 of the Law on Police Service, Hayk Mhrjan is relieved of his duties as Deputy Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia and from service within the police force of the Republic of Armenia," the presidential decree states.
