Georgia to Cover Citizens' Utility Bills Until Next March
The government of Georgia will continue to pay for citizens' utility services for the months of November, December, January, and February.
This announcement was made by the Prime Minister of Georgia during a government session, according to 'Georgia Online'.
“In order to compensate for the reduced income or job loss of citizens, the government has decided to extend the utility bill support program for another four months. The assistance will be at the same level as before, covering 200 kWh of electricity and 200 cubic meters of gas. Relatively well-off citizens will have the option to decline the support,” stated Giorgi Gakharia.
