Fire broke out on Arin Berd Street in Yerevan: Five emergency teams dispatched to the scene
On August 6, at 15:43, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of smoke observed near a single-story building at 3/21 Arin Berd Street in Yerevan. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Five emergency teams from the Yerevan Rescue Department have been dispatched to the scene, along with operational groups from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Department and the National Crisis Management Center, as well as one ladder truck.
According to preliminary data, construction materials are burning in the non-operational half-constructed building (3500 sqm). It has been confirmed that the roof of the single-story building near 3/21 Arin Berd Street is on fire.
The fire was contained by 18:32 and extinguished by 19:19. Approximately 1200 sqm of the building's roof has been burnt.
