Tsarukyan's Foundation to Allocate Funds for Armenians Affected by Beirut Explosion

Gagik Tsarukyan has just had a phone conversation with the Catholicos of Cilicia, Aram I. This was reported by Iveta Tonoyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) parliamentary faction, on Facebook.

“The president of PAP expressed his condolences to His Holiness regarding the deaths of our compatriots in Lebanon due to the powerful explosions. Gagik Tsarukyan emphasized that as an Armenian and as a Christian, he feels deep sorrow for the tragedy that occurred in brotherly Lebanon. In his phone call with Aram I, the PAP president expressed his unwavering support, adding that immediately today, the Gagik Tsarukyan Charitable Foundation will allocate financial resources to assist our compatriots affected by the disaster, community organizations, and the Catholicosate of Cilicia. Once again expressing his unconditional support, Tsarukyan emphasized that he is always ready to put all efforts into reaching out and providing support to one of the strongest and most vital communities in the Diaspora during this distressing time,” she wrote.
