Five Armenians Die in Powerful Explosion at Beirut Port

A powerful explosion at the Beirut port has resulted in the deaths of five Armenians, reports 'Arevlik'.

The fifth victim is Telia Papazyan, a mother of two, who lived with her family near the port. Other victims include political figure Nazar Najaryan, a nurse from one of the city's central hospitals named Jessica Bezhyan, Alina Zabryn, and another Armenian, Jacques Baramakyans.

A day of mourning has been declared in Beirut.
