250,000 People Left Homeless: Photos from Today's Beirut
According to The Guardian, Beirut's leader Marwan Aboud has announced that the explosion at the port yesterday has left 250,000 people homeless. He noted that agencies are working to provide them with shelter, food, and water. Marwan Aboud also reported that 10 members of the firefighting team have died.
It is recalled that the death toll from the explosions in Beirut is around 100, with over 4,000 people injured and hundreds missing. Among the victims are six Armenians.
