Azerbaijani Hackers Publish Personal Data of Several Dozen Employees of Zvartnots Airport, Expert Says
Azerbaijani hackers (the phrase brings a smile even as I type it) have published the personal data of several dozen employees of Zvartnots Airport. This was reported by information security expert Samvel Martirosyan.
“It’s not something to be very scared about, but it’s already starting to feel like I’m a ticket seller at a variety show,” he wrote.
Previously, he mentioned that Azerbaijani hackers managed to penetrate the government’s internal network and exfiltrated 55 terabytes of information.
“Don’t ask me if this is right or wrong. I don’t know. It would just be nice to hear some comments and understand when Armenia will finally have a unified cybersecurity center, when the issue of protecting critical infrastructure will be addressed, and finally, when we will hear that someone is held accountable for the leaks. There have been so many data breaches, and not once have we heard that the cause of the leak and the responsible party have been identified.”
