Petrosyan: There is no need for any summary, formal texts or statistical data presentation
After long contemplation regarding my over two-year activity as the governor of Kotayk, I realized that there is no need for any summary, that is, no need for formal texts or statistical data presentation. This was stated by the former governor of Kotayk, Romanos Petrosyan, on his Facebook page while summarizing his activities in the gubernatorial position.
“Dear Kotayk residents, fellow countrymen. After long contemplation regarding my over two-year activity as the governor of Kotayk, I realized that there is no need for any summary, that is, no need for formal texts or statistical data presentation. There is no need for a summary because my activity from the very first day in beloved Kotayk has been open, transparent, and accountable. My daily meetings, receptions of citizens and entrepreneurs, working visits, and all decisions and initiatives have been widely covered by our official pages and media outlets, both at their initiative and based on our disseminated press releases.
Now, with great awareness of the immense debt and responsibility, I have taken up the position of Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia at the suggestion of the Prime Minister. I consider the best summary of my relatively short but extremely intense and substantive phase of activity in Kotayk to be the vision of having a #ModelKotayk, with the future realization of joyful and carefree smiles of our little ones under the roofs of about a dozen newly constructed and reconstructed kindergartens, which will be commissioned by the end of this year and next year; and the numerous opportunities for the aesthetic education of our teenagers and young girls, made possible in about a dozen renovated cultural houses. The availability of quality and high-standard medical services within the walls of renovated operating rooms and hospital rooms at various health centers in the region (including the capital newly renovated two-story building of the maternity care unit of Yeghvard’s ‘Nairy’ hospital), and finally, the possibility of realizing the right to higher quality and more dignified general education as a result of capital renovations of central heating systems, sports halls, restrooms, roofs, and computer classrooms in all schools in the region (about 90), amounting to over 700 million AMD, and so on, and so forth...
As for the renovated internal and inter-community roads, we will all continue to visit Kotayk. #ModelKotayk.
My dear ones, now is the time to operate in a new and broader space, and naturally, my advocated ideas and cherished values remain the same: #Rule_of_Law and #Equality_of_Rights. From now on, I will dedicate all my efforts, dedication, and potential to ensuring a more guaranteed, protected, and knowledge-based governance in Armenia under the considerate attitude of the society—a developing #Environmental_Sustainability... For the cause. For the Republic of Armenia, for the Armenian people, and for the citizens of the Republic of Armenia.”
