European Parliament Coalition Calls on EU to Impose Targeted Sanctions on Azerbaijani Officials

The leader of the 'Bright Armenia' parliamentary faction, Edmon Marukyan, made the following statement on his Facebook page: "The Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament (one of the political groups in the EU Parliament) has adopted a resolution: 'In light of the severe human rights situation in Azerbaijan, we call on the EU to impose targeted sanctions on Azerbaijani officials responsible for the repressive measures against political opposition and civil society.'
