The Black Swan Theory: Naira Zohrabyan

Sometimes I get the impression that Nassim Taleb's 'Black Swan Theory' is a diagnosis of Armenian 'realpolitik'. This was stated by Prosperous Armenia party MP Naira Zohrabyan on her Facebook page.

'The Black Swan Theory' is about the business, political factors that do not fit into rational calculations and the theory of randomness, articulated by American theorist Nassim Taleb. When absolutely unpredictable and uncalculable processes and events occur randomly in politics, their consequences cannot be predicted, as these events and processes are often completely irrational.

Sometimes I get the impression that Nassim Taleb's 'Black Swan Theory' is a diagnosis of Armenian 'realpolitik'. By the way, I also recommend reading Taleb's 'Antifragile' and 'Fooled by Randomness'. The first is about how not only to remain unscathed but also to become better after facing chaos and uncertainty, and the second, as Taleb himself says, is 'none of us is protected from the deception of randomness. And the only thing we can do is to keep all of this within as aesthetic boundaries as possible.'
