Turkologist Karen Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook page: "In the artificial state known as Azerbaijan, they still cannot understand and clarify the location of their general, Polad Hashimov’s elimination. Currently, in the Azerbaijani social media domain, they claim their general was destroyed 31 kilometers from the frontline, allegedly as part of some conspiracy. Today, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense has been forced to issue a statement asserting that Hashimov was in the trench next to a soldier.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan is afraid to tell the truth.
