57-Year-Old Driver Crashes Nissan X-Trail into Concrete Electricity Pole in Lori Province, Leaves One Injured
Today, August 2, a traffic accident occurred in Lori Province. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, around 5:00 PM, 67-year-old Samvel S., a resident of Vanadzor, drove his Nissan X-Trail vehicle on the Vanadzor-Dilijan highway, approximately 12 kilometers from Vanadzor, when, under unknown circumstances, he veered off the roadway and crashed into a concrete electricity pole.
As reported by photographer Gagik Shamshyan, the impact caused the electricity pole to break and fall onto a nearby structure used as a dining area for food labeled with the 'Coca-Cola' brand, located adjacent to the 'Lav Teg' facility.
As a result of the accident, driver Samvel S. was transported to the Vanadzor Medical Center for medical assistance. The investigations at the scene were led by Senior Investigator Roman Petrosyan of the 5th platoon of the 2nd traffic police regiment, who is preparing materials on the incident.
The cause of the accident was a hazardous situation created by another vehicle, identified as a Kia.
