Doctors and Teachers to Be First Vaccinated Against Coronavirus in Russia

The clinical trials of the coronavirus vaccine developed by the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology have been completed. This information was provided by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, according to RIA Novosti.

According to the minister, a package of documents is currently being prepared for the registration of the medication. Once the registration certificate is obtained, the vaccine will be put into use.

It is planned to begin vaccinations with medical professionals and teachers. Simultaneously, monitoring of the health of vaccinated individuals will be conducted.

Mass vaccination is expected to start in Russia in October.
