291 New COVID-19 Cases Registered in Armenia; 560 Recoveries in Last Day

As of August 1 at 11:00 AM, Armenia has registered 291 new cases of COVID-19. This information was reported by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Armenia has reached 38,841. The overall number of tests conducted has reached 165,656, with 1,920 new tests conducted in the last day.

Currently, 8,307 patients are under treatment, which is a decrease of 280 from the previous day. According to the latest data, 29,557 individuals have recovered, with 560 recoveries in the last 24 hours. In total, 749 patients have died, an increase of 11.

Regarding the fatalities, the deceased patients were aged 83 (male), 79 (male), 68 (male), 60 (female), 80 (female), 69 (female), 73 (female), 54 (male), 81 (female), 73 (male), and 41 (male). Except for the last individual, all had underlying chronic diseases.
