Ucom to Compensate Subscribers for Service Disruption

Ucom plans to allocate a total of 105 million AMD to its fixed-line subscribers for the service disruptions that occurred during July.

According to Ucom’s team, the inconveniences caused to subscribers due to the service outages are difficult to quantify in monetary terms. Acknowledging the patience of all Ucom subscribers, the entire team expresses gratitude for the invaluable support during this challenging period.

Considering that thousands of Ucom subscribers might prefer to avoid stress resulting from technical issues and may regard individual compensation limits (from 500 to 2000 AMD per subscriber based on their tariff plan) as minimal, the company’s staff has a proposition regarding the management of the 105 million AMD. The decision to proceed or not with this proposal will be made based on the results of a free SMS voting and calls from Ucom subscribers.

Subscribers will receive a question via the short number 1004, asking whether they prefer that the entire 105 million AMD be distributed among subscribers (with each receiving 500-2000 AMD based on their tariff plan) or whether they believe the funds would be more appropriately donated to the Soldiers’ Insurance Fund, considering the direction and relevance of the foundation's activities.

Ucom will provide additional information regarding the final decision.
