In the Context of Turkish-Azerbaijani Exercises, Forces Need to Be Readied for Combat
In the context of the large-scale Turkish-Azerbaijani exercises, in addition to monitoring their movements, concentrations, and tactical trainings at various depths, there arises a necessity to bring the troops to a proper state of combat readiness.
This statement was made by Tigran Abrahamyan, the head of the "Henaket" analytical center and a former advisor on security issues to the President of Artsakh.
“Depending on the degree of danger, the General Staff of the Armed Forces makes various decisions – some of which are classified. The official announcement from the Ministry of Defense regarding sudden inspections of the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia should also be viewed in this context. Especially at this stage, the actions of Azerbaijan and Turkey in the diplomatic, political, military, economic, lobbying, and propaganda spheres must be scrutinized and analyzed under a magnifying glass,” he wrote.
“I remind you that starting early in the morning, upon the order of the Chief of the General Staff, units of the armed forces, military formations, and part of the forces under central command have been elevated to high levels of combat readiness with the aim of verifying the troops' operational capability, the ability to act quickly in the existing situation, clarifying the issues of interaction concerning assigned and supporting forces and resources, and conducting trainings on subdivisions and fire management involving operational-tactical scenarios,” he added.
