"It is Obvious That This Sector Needs Regulation" - T. Abrahamyan on the Use of Drones at the Border

The former advisor to the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Tigran Abrahamyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "The National Security Service proposes to prohibit the use of unmanned aerial vehicles without proper permission in the border strip of the state border, to photograph the territory of neighboring states, the engineering structures and blockades located in the border strip, buildings and structures used by border troops, observation posts, and vehicles.

It is obvious that this sector needs regulation. While modern technologies improve the quality of life, they also pose significant risks in terms of publicizing the location, position, and functional significance details of specially protected objects and border infrastructure. No less important than regulation is the effective implementation of control, because there are areas where there are regulations, but no control, resulting in the tasks set not serving their intended purpose."
