Hakob Arshakyan Visits Tavush, Discusses Effectiveness of Armenian-Made Drones During July Battles
The Minister of High-Tech Industry, Hakob Arshakyan, has visited the border area of the Tavush region, as reported by the ministry's press service.
During the visit, he discussed with the command staff of the third army corps the effectiveness and specifics of the use of Armenian-made drones, upgraded anti-aircraft systems, and other means during the battles in July.
Alongside Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan, His Eminence Bishop Bagrat Galstyan, and Prime Minister’s advisor Robert Ghukasyan, they addressed issues regarding the broadcasting of regional digital television and radio in border areas, as well as the accessibility of mobile networks and the internet.
As a result of the visit, under the directive of the Minister of High-Tech Industry, measurements of radio frequencies will be conducted in the border area, along with mapping works for radio coverage, mobile, and internet networks. Steps will be taken to improve the digital television network and to expand the accessibility of communication and fiber-optic internet in border villages of the Tavush region.
The modernization program for Haypost offices, especially in border communities, will also continue.
