No Need for Additional Testing for Officials Who Met with Lukashenko, Says PM Spokesperson
There is no need for additional testing for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other members of the Armenian governmental delegation who met with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in Minsk on July 17. This was stated by the spokesperson for the Prime Minister of Armenia, Mane Gevorgyan, in an interview with Armenpress, responding to comments regarding Lukashenko's announcement that he asymptomatically overcame coronavirus, and that he had met with the Armenian Prime Minister and members of the Armenian delegation shortly before that announcement.
“Upon returning from Minsk to Yerevan, all members of the Armenian delegation underwent coronavirus testing, and all results were negative, so there is currently no need for further testing,” said Gevorgyan.
From July 16-17, the Armenian governmental delegation, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, was in Minsk to participate in a meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union. During the visit, on July 17, the Armenian Prime Minister held a meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko. On July 28, Aleksandr Lukashenko announced that he asymptomatically and effectively overcame coronavirus.
