Instances of Violating Sanitary and Hygiene Norms and Ignoring Party Restrictions Recorded by the Food Safety Inspectorate
The new work week for the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia's Yerevan and regional structures began with unannounced visits and extensive monitoring. This was reported by the Armenian Government.
The spotlight of intensified inspections has been on the food chain organizations in Yerevan's Nor Nork administrative district. In this community of the capital, the decisions of the Armenian Prime Minister have been adhered to with full responsibility. No violations were found in all shops, public catering establishments, and food production facilities that were inspected by FSIB inspectors.
However, inspectors from the FSIB's regional centers recorded deficiencies and gross violations. These relate to both the sanitary and hygienic norms associated with the prevention of coronavirus and the disregard for restrictions on party organization and conduct, as well as the issue of not maintaining social distance among individuals.
The findings will be presented to the commandant's office, which will be followed by sanctions in the form of suspensions and administrative fines. The FSIB will continue its vigilant control of all organizations in the food chain across the republic due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
