Firdausi Neighborhood Monument Buildings to be Preserved with Adjacent 2-4 Story Structures

The monuments adjacent to the Republic and Tigran the Great streets will be preserved in place and their courtyard facades will be re-evaluated, while 2-4 story buildings with wooden balconies will follow these monument buildings. This was announced by Varag Siseryan, the head of the office of the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, through a Facebook post, where he also published a video with a 3D model of the project.

“As you may recall, we announced that a number of positive changes had been made to the Firdausi neighborhood development project as a result of negotiations with developers. We pointed out that the monuments adjacent to the Republic and Tigran the Great streets will be preserved in their locations and the courtyard facades of the buildings will be re-evaluated. Following these monument buildings, there will be 2-4 story structures with wooden balconies, which will create a new, harmonious tourist ambiance in the area. The area will be bordered by a 250-meter pedestrian pathway, beyond which the new buildings will be located.
