Defense Requests Lifting of Property Freeze on Robert Kocharyan
During today’s hearing in the case of the alleged overthrow of constitutional order, the defense team of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, filed a motion to lift the freeze on Kocharyan’s property. This was reported by Kocharyan's legal team.
Defense attorney Hovhannes Khudoyan noted that on July 30, 2018, investigator Hrachya Musheghyan made a decision to impose a freeze on Kocharyan’s movable and immovable property, financial resources, accounts, shares, assets, stocks, and securities.
Attorney Erik Aleksanyan, representing Armen Gevorgyan, also filed a request to lift the freeze on his client's property. He stated that although the court's decision partially granted the defense's appeal and acknowledged the violation of Armen Gevorgyan's property rights, the freeze has not yet been lifted.
