32 Residents of Shirak Province Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital
As of July 28 at 11:30 AM, 32 residents of Shirak Province are being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital. Since March 1, a total of 7,287 samples have been taken in the healthcare facilities of Shirak Province and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. From May 12 to July 27, a total of 5,933 tests have been conducted in Gyumri alone. On July 27, 17 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed.
Currently, 786 citizens in the province are under self-isolation at home, with 242 of them having tested positive with asymptomatic cases, under the supervision of primary healthcare services.
To date, 452 residents of Shirak Province have recovered from the virus and been discharged from the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital. Additionally, 49 patients have been transferred to the capital. A total of 35 deaths have been recorded.
