Photos: Bus Carrying Soldiers Overturns in Turkey, Casualties Reported

A bus transporting soldiers has overturned near the town of Mut in Turkey’s Mersin province, resulting in the deaths of the bus driver and five soldiers. Additionally, ten other soldiers have suffered varying degrees of injuries and have been taken to the Mut hospital. This news has been reported by haberler.com, citing the Mersin governor's office.

The governor's office confirmed that the accident occurred on the Mut-Karaman highway, and the causes of the crash are still under investigation. Efforts at the site continue.

After the bus overturned, Turkey's Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar and the Commander of the Land Forces, General Umut Dündar, arrived at the scene.
