Mercedes Falls Into Pool in Jrvezh, Casualties Reported

A traffic accident occurred in the village of Jrvezh, resulting in casualties.

On July 26, at 21:25, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting an accident in the national park of Jrvezh, indicating that there were injured individuals.

A firefighting unit from the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene along with a rescue team from the special operations center.

It was discovered that a Mercedes vehicle (driver: Hovhannes G., born in 1973) had veered off the roadway and overturned into a pool.

Before the rescuers arrived, the passenger was rescued by local forces and transported to the hospital. Rescuers managed to extract the driver from the vehicle and brought him to an ambulance, from which he was hospitalized at Heratsi University Hospital No. 1.
