Azerbaijan and Turkey to Conduct Joint Military Exercises in Azerbaijan, Including Nakhchivan
The APA agency, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, reports that, according to the military cooperation agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey, large-scale joint military exercises with live ammunition will be held in Azerbaijan, involving ground and air forces from both countries.
According to preliminary arrangements, the ground forces exercises are scheduled to take place from August 1 to 5 in Baku and Nakhchivan, while air force participation in the exercises is planned from July 29 to August 10 in Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja (Gandzak), Kurdamir, and Yevlakh.
The exercises will involve troops, armored vehicles, artillery systems, mortars, military aviation, as well as the air defense systems of both countries.
