VIDEO: Clash Between Citizens and Police at Lake Sevan

A clash occurred at Lake Sevan near an island, involving police officers from the emergency services and individuals active in the area. Witnesses told Tert.am that the cause of the scuffle was the failure to comply with police's legal demands. The demand was to wear masks on the shore of Sevan and inside vehicles, to which some individuals questioned, 'What kind of demand is that, in an open space?'

Women also intervened in the brawl. During the approximately ten-minute altercation, police officers were struck and insulted. Shortly after the fight, one of the participants shouted an insult at a police officer, calling for clarification: 'Kazhol, come here.'
