Collision Between Nissan XTrail and Freight Train in Gegharkunik Province

Today, around 1:00 PM, a collision occurred at the railway crossing on the Yerevan-Ijevan highway, involving a Nissan XTrail vehicle driven by 47-year-old Ruben Martirosyan from Sevan and a freight train consisting of 30 cars driven by Gor Martirosyan.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, preliminary reports indicate that fortunately, there are no injuries. The freight train was traveling from Yerevan to Sotk, and at this location, the railway crossing is absent, which often leads to similar incidents.
