Attack on Armenian Café in Moscow Leaves Injured

A violent conflict has erupted again between representatives of the Armenian and Azerbaijani communities in Moscow. The incident occurred near the "Armyanskiy Dvor" restaurant, located near the Salarievo metro station in the southwestern part of the capital, as reported by the restaurant's management.

Elunur Guseynov, vice president of the Russian Azerbaijani Union, confirmed the situation, stating, "The circumstances are unclear; we do not yet know exactly what happened. Representatives of the diaspora are on-site to clarify the events that transpired there."

According to TASS, a group of Azerbaijanis armed with wooden clubs and metal rods attacked a construction materials store owned by Armenians. About 20 individuals reportedly assaulted the "Armyanskiy Dvor" restaurant, according to the Baza Telegram channel. They arrived at the scene in vehicles and began to destroy everything inside while also beating the restaurant's administrator. Reports indicate that the injured party has been taken to the hospital.

David Tonoyan, co-chairman of the Union of Armenians in Russia, informed RBC, "The information available online indicates they attacked, it lasted about ten minutes, they broke the windows and left."
