Aliyev Suffered Defeat in the Diaspora as Well: Karen Hovhannisyan

Military expert Karen Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Let us note that the punitive actions of July 12 were very painful for the Azerbaijani leadership. A vivid proof of this is the Armenian-Azerbaijani clashes, which have spread from the border to different corners of the world.

It is no longer possible to speak about preparing the peoples for peace. Aliyev has irrevocably destroyed that process, as he does not need peace, much less reconciliation, as this would mark the disgraceful end of the Aliyev and Pashayeva dynasties' rule.

Let us also note that Aliyev suffered a defeat in the diaspora and failed to demonstrate to the world that he also has a powerful diaspora, like the Armenians.

These events, starting from the July 12 clash, require quite in-depth study, as there was not just a Turkish influence but a scenario at play.”
