Toyota Land Cruiser and Volkswagen Crafter Collide in Lori Province; Toyota Overturns

A major traffic accident occurred today, July 23rd, around 16:00 on the Stepanavan-Tashir highway in Lori Province. This information was reported by Shamshyan.com.

The vehicles involved were a Toyota Land Cruiser driven by 62-year-old Vardan Baghdasaryan from Tashir and a Volkswagen Crafter driven by 36-year-old Arthur Shakhbazyan from Yerevan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the Toyota Land Cruiser overturned as a result of the collision, but fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the accident.

Officers from the 1st platoon of the 5th battalion of the second patrol division arrived at the scene, led by platoon commander Lyudvig Qandilyan and squad commander Kostan Budaghyan. An investigation is being prepared by the investigator Gevorg Mukoyan from the same division regarding the incident.
