The Untold Story of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Admission to Yerevan State University

The spokesperson for Yerevan State University, Gevorg Emin-Teriyan, wrote on his Facebook page:

“Everyone knows the story of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's completion—or lack thereof—of his studies at Yerevan State University, but few know the story of his admission. In the summer of 1991, when Armenia was still parliamentary and Vazgen Manukyan was the Prime Minister, unprecedented admission exams took place. Candidates who received satisfactory grades but were not accepted began a sit-in in front of the Government. Following this, by the Prime Minister's order, all those who had received passing grades but did not pass the entrance competition were officially registered as students. Nikol Pashinyan was one of those students.”
