WRed
As a final cure for COVID-19 has yet to be developed, many countries around the world are utilizing existing medications to prevent the exacerbation of mortality by suppressing the reproduction of the virus. Currently, Avigan (favipiravir) is one such medication that has garnered significant interest.
At the request of Armenia, Japan has donated Avigan, a Japan-made drug, on July 22, which is expected to be used for nearly 100 patients. It is anticipated that the drug will be utilized effectively by Armenian medical professionals and will contribute to the further advancement of clinical research on COVID-19, thereby aiding in the recovery of more patients through this process.
