Business Operations Suspended for Several Construction Material Retailers on Gnuni Street for 24 Hours
On July 23, the State Revenue Committee conducted monitoring and follow-up inspections in Shirak Province and Yerevan. During the monitoring conducted in the city of Artik, representatives of the regulatory body recorded several violations in construction material stores, and partially in gas filling stations. In particular, there were no designated closed bins for masks and gloves, thermometers, and temperature recording logs.
Reports are being prepared regarding the observed violations, which will be submitted to the authorities. No violations were found during follow-up inspections in Gyumri. Follow-up inspections also took place in Yerevan, specifically at a gold trade fair in the Malatya-Sebastia administrative district, where previously noted shortcomings regarding the designated closed bins for masks and gloves had been corrected.
The monitoring conducted by the State Revenue Committee continues across the Republic of Armenia. On July 23, the regulatory body also enforced suspension measures in Yerevan. By the decision of the authorities, the operations of several construction material retail points on Gnuni Street were suspended for 24 hours. During the monitoring, the economic operators did not comply with social distancing markings, thermometers, and temperature recording logs.
It is reminded that the regulatory body carries out continuous monitoring in shopping centers, fairs, construction stores, and retail points of liquid fuels, compressed natural gas, or liquefied petroleum gas, in accordance with the anti-epidemic regulations based on the decision No. 63 of May 3 by the authorities.
