Armenians Removed from Moscow's 'Tvoy Dom' Shopping Center, Owned by an Azerbaijani: Politician
International issues between Armenians and Azerbaijanis are gaining new momentum in Moscow. Mariam Hovsepyan, a political analyst residing in Moscow, highlighted this on her Facebook page, drawing journalists' attention.
“The ‘Food City’ commercial complex and its subsidiary, ‘Food City Logistics,’ owned by our compatriot, have terminated a $40 million contract. In the coming days, the entire Jewish community was trying to resolve this matter, but the contract has been canceled. Today, our compatriots have been removed from the ‘Tvoy Dom’ complex, which is also owned by an Azerbaijani,” she wrote.
It is worth noting that amidst heightened tensions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, on the night of July 16, trucks loaded with Armenian goods were removed from ‘Food City,’ one of the largest wholesale markets in Moscow, with some suppliers reporting that the products had already spoiled.
On July 18, it became known that Armenians in Russia mobilized and purchased all Armenian apricots from the trucks taken out of Moscow’s wholesale ‘Food City’ market.
According to RIA Novosti, the market is owned by the ‘Kiyevskaya Ploshchad’ company, which manages the assets of one of the largest commercial real estate agencies in Moscow, operated by God Nisanov and Zarakh Iliyev.
