Time has taught its lessons regarding speaking to us in the language of force. If these lessons have not been learned by the political and military leaders of Ilham Aliyev’s regime, then they will bear full responsibility for the consequences of the humanitarian disaster that has arisen in the region due to their potentially reckless orders.

This was stated by the President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, on his Facebook page. He specifically wrote:

“Last night, I spent time with our soldiers at the front lines. From the height of our stationed position (3724 m), we can see not only the large-scale military infrastructure and movements of the adversary but also the daily life of around half a million residents. This is just one point. In this case, does official Baku really want a military solution to the Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict?

I discussed with the chief of the Defense Army’s staff the sequence of our actions in the event of a likely reckless adventure by the adversary, which would inflict irreversible losses on Azerbaijan. Time has taught its lessons regarding speaking to us in the language of force; if these lessons have not been learned by the political and military leaders of Ilham Aliyev’s regime, then they will bear full responsibility for the consequences of the humanitarian disaster that has arisen in the region due to their potentially reckless orders.
