Threat to Strike Metsamor was a Serious Attempt to Influence Events, But It Failed: Tigran Abrahamyan
Four years ago, during the April military operations, Azerbaijan threatened to strike Stepanakert, but the intimidation did not work, the bluff failed. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, head of the 'Henaket' analytical center and former security advisor to the president of Artsakh, on his Facebook page.
'The same is true today: the threat to strike Metsamor was an unserious attempt to influence the outcome of events, and that also did not work,' he said.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan's military department has threatened Armenia with international nuclear crimes in the form of shelling the Metsamor nuclear power plant. This statement was made by Vagif Dargyakhli, head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
